Lips

Lip Blushing is a form of machine tattooing that creates a ‘tinted’ lip effect. Over time the lips can lose volume, definition and colour, making them appear smaller and sometimes creating a ‘washed out appearance’. Lacey’s Lip blushing technique gives you your full lip shape back, with a beautiful healthy colour without a lip liner effect.

Lip blushing is one blended colour within a more defined shape. Whether you like them very nude and ‘barely there’ or a bit more vibrant, Lacey can help give you beautiful lips to wake up to every day.

Colour choice- these heal 30-40% lighter

Did you know that over time the edges of our lips naturally get paler? Lip blush can bring that volume back!

The Process

All Lip Blush procedures begin with a patch test. This can be sent in the post before your appointment or done at the clinic during a consultation. On the day of the appointment we have a full discussion to work out your goals and we have a look at different colours to see what you might like best!

Lacey will help chose a colour that will suit your skin tone and create your desired healed result.

Once the colour is chosen, Lacey will draw a beautiful and crisp outline and work on any areas of asymmetry. The tattooing itself has very minimal discomfort and once we are finished you will be given an aftercare bag for a weeks healing.

The Healing Process

Full aftercare instructions will be provided; a hard copy along with a verbal explanation upon completion of the treatment.

The Lips will go through a phase of being more intense in colour and a little swollen lasting up to a few days - this is completely normal! Within 5 days all the flaky bits of colour will have come away and the initial colour chosen will blossom over the next 6 weeks.

The intensity of the immediate result will all dependent on the lip pigment that is chosen.

Colour Matching Lipsticks

If you have a favourite lipstick that you wear day to day, bring it with you to your appointment! Lacey will try to colour match it for you and although we can’t guarantee a 100% match when healed, we can definitely get it very close!
